Location Maps

Mulberry Mews
Aberdeen Lane
London
N5 2EA

Neighbouring Highbury Fields, perfectly located for superb access to all of London via Highbury and Islington Station and just moments from the eclectic shops of Highbury Barn, Mulberry Mews puts the best of London on your doorstep. Entering the gated development from the quiet lane that runs alongside it, the first thing you’ll be struck by is the tranquility it affords. At its heart is a beautifully landscaped square that further enhances the calmness and peace of Mulberry Mews’ superb location.

To the left of the square, there’s a row of elegant yet modern townhouses. To the right, is the apartment block which rises gently, with each floor being set back from the last. The development’s secure underground parking is also found under the main apartment block.

Highbury Barn

In Victorian times Highbury Barn was the place to be seen. These days it’s equally enticing but for very different reasons. As well as being just 5 minutes walk away, making it ideal for everyday essentials, it has intriguing an array of shops to discover.

Established in 1905, Godfreys is a free range butchers which was voted Britain’s Best Butcher Shop a few years ago. It’s also one of the only butchers in London licensed to sell Aberdeen Angus Beef.

A few doors up is Meek and Wild, a traditional fishmongers that specialises in sustainably sourced fish from Devon. Then there’s Mrs Lovell’s Greengrocers, which offers flowers as well as your five a day. La Fromagerie is one of the best cheese shops in England, with a cafe and separate cheese room. Da Mario is a wonderfully authentic Italian deli. In short, you won’t find a better parade of shops so close anywhere in London.

Highbury & Islington

While unable to rival the scale of the West End, what Islington lacks in size it more than makes up for in character and individuality – such is the diverse natureof its shops.

For a touch of interior glamour, head to Atelier Abigail Ahern or the Camden Passage Antiques Market. While the style-conscious will adore Labour of Love, Gill Wing Shoes and Diverse, all hidden gems of many fashionistas. Add to this an array of well-known brands such as Jack Wills, Reiss and Bang & Olufsen and if you never left Islington, your wardrobe and home would never suffer. After all, this is one of London’s most stylish areas.

From the theatres of Drury Lane to the Royal Opera House and galleries such as the Tate Modern, London’s cultural dynamism is unrivalled. With the West End only 8 minutes away, you couldn’t be better placed to enjoy the delights on offer.

Closer to home there’s also plenty to choose from. The Almeida Theatre’s productions are internationally renowned. Sadler’s Wells is quite simply the world’s leading dance venue. While The Screen on the Green is one of London’s leading art-house cinemas.

Equally, gastronomically speaking, local favourites such as Ottolenghi, Public House, Fig and Olive and Gallipoli Again can rival anything the rest of the capital can plate up.
